I didn’t like Marshall’s previous thriller Friend Request much, and I don’t like this one much either. The characters are caricatures and the plot twists not stunning enough to make it worth your while. If you want to read a good thriller, put this one back on your shelf and check out my list of Top Five Thrillers. If you’ve read all of them, try Do Not Become Alarmed by Maile Meloy or Before The Fall by Noah Hawley. This one’s just not worth it.
